Miles James
Shaping the melodies of the band, Miles James is in charge of the guitar and vocals of Jarley Yung. Starting Jarley Yung in 2023, his love for classic rock, southern rock, and the blues have helped create the sound that the band strives to play. While Miles has been in many bands in the Lexington music scene, it’s clear that Jarley Yung is the true definition of his love for music.
Jack James
Behind the kit keeping time, Jack James provides an array of influences to drive his playing. Having his roots in music be primarily in jazz/fusion, the intricacies that come along with the genre shine through the hard rock sound of Jarley Yung. Whether it’s fast, slow, soft or loud, Mr. James can play—and play well. His versatility is a crucial part of the band.
Gentry Needham
As the youngest and tallest member of the band, Gentry Needham is a walking contradiction. However, he does not contradict anything with his masterful bass—he’s just downright good. With an array of different genres across the board in his rolodex, Gentry has influences from rock and jazz to classical music and heavy metal. There’s not much he doesn’t like, and not much to dislike about what he brings.
